Regular Season Round 21: Herten Lions - Stahnsdorf 92-67

An interesting game for Hertener Loewen (15-6) which hosted in Herten 4th placed RSV Eintracht (13-8). Third ranked Hertener Loewen had an easy win 92-67. The game without a history. Hertener Loewen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for swingman Blake Schultz (191-87, college: Williams) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Marcus Monk (198-86, college: Arkansas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Hertener Loewen's coach Boris Kaminski felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Alex Moosmann (183-88, college: Cent.Missouri) answered with 19 points and forward Kellen Williams (193-84, college: E.Washington) added 8 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Hertener Loewen maintains third place in Group North with 15-6 record having just two points less than leader Schwelm. RSV Eintracht lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Hertener Loewen are looking forward to face SSV Lok Bernau (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RSV Eintracht will play against Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#11) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
