Regular Season Round 19: Triglav Strazisce - Sezana 51-82

The game between 13th ranked Triglav Kranj (3-16) and third ranked Kraski Zidar (14-5) in Kranj on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Sezana outscored Triglav Kranj 82-51. The game was mostly controlled by Kraski Zidar. Triglav Kranj managed to win fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Triglav Kranj 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a quality performance for center Nejc Buda (210-91) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Tilen Zalar (193-87) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Kraski Zidar players scored in double figures. Kraski Zidar's coach Miroslav Juric felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Emil Radoncic (-92) came up with 13 points and guard Rok Jakobcic (194-91) added 8 points respectively for Triglav Kranj in the defeat. Kraski Zidar maintains third place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Rogaska. Triglav Kranj lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Kraski Zidar will meet bottom-ranked Konjice (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Triglav Kranj will play against Medvode and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
