Regular Season Round 36: Radviliskis - Mazeikiai 75-73

The most exciting game of round 36 in the NKL took place in Radviliskis. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Mazeikiai (22-12) to second ranked Radviliskis (24-10) 75-73 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mazeikiai. Mazeikiai cut a 16-point first quarter deficit to two at the end of the game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Radviliskis maintains second position with 24-10 record having nine points less than leader Pieno Zvaigzdes. Mazeikiai at the other side keeps the third place with 12 games lost. Radviliskis are looking forward to face LKKA-Atletas (#6) in Kaunas in the next round. Mazeikiai will play on the road against the league's leader Pieno Zvaigzdes in Pasvalys and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
