NBL top team - Montana 2003 (12-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Slavia (0-16) 107-61. The game without a history. Montana 2003 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Slavia's 24 and had 22 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Slavia only scored one point from the stripe. They outrebounded Slavia 44-24 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Montana 2003 players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Ivelina Vrancheva (175-80) who scored that evening 28 points and 8 assists (made all of her eight free throws) and the former international forward Jeanetta Zhelyova (182-75) supported her with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Montana 2003 players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 4 assists by guard Zornitsa Naydenova (172-89) did not help to save the game for Slavia. Forward Ivana Shikileva (179-92) added 8 points and 4 assists for lost side. Slavia's coach Kiril Kukov gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
