Regular Season Round 22: s.Oliver Baskets - Osnabrueck 95-72

An interesting game for s Oliver Baskets (17-5) which hosted in Wuerzburg 4th ranked GiroLive-Ballers (13-8). Second ranked s Oliver Baskets had an easy win 95-72. The game was mostly controlled by s Oliver Baskets. GiroLive-Ballers was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. s Oliver Baskets players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. British-Australian guard Lee Jeka (187-83, agency: Promotex) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: Cal.St.-San Bernar.) chipped in 17 points during the contest. s Oliver Baskets' coach Marcel Schroeder felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Aaron Fleetwood (206-84, college: Delaware St., agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Tom Spoeler (206-88) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four GiroLive-Ballers players scored in double figures. Newly promoted s Oliver Baskets maintains second position with 17-5 record having four points less than leader B.Muenchen. GiroLive-Ballers at the other side dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. s Oliver Baskets will play against Cuxhaven BasCats (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. GiroLive-Ballers will play against ETB Wohnbau (#15) in Essen and hope to get back on the winning track.
