Important game to mention about took place in Wulfen. Sixth ranked BSV Wulfen (11-11) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked USC Leipzig (11-11) 70-69 in the fight for the fifth place. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American forward Joseph Henley (196-85, college: Sacred Heart) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Tony White (183-88, college: Charleston) chipped in 19 points during the contest. BSV Wulfen's coach Phillip Kappenstein allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side power forward Ralph Schirmer (203-86) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and American forward Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) scored 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. BSV Wulfen moved-up to fifth place in Group North, which they share with Leipzig. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
