Very predictable result when third ranked Hertener Loewen (16-6) won against on the road 12th ranked SSV Lok Bernau (4-18) 92-88 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-88. It was a very good performance for American swingman Marcus Monk (198-86, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Maik Berger (175-84) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American guard Calvin Brock (196-86, college: Illinois) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import power forward Dreshawn Vance (203-85, college: Cal Poly - SLO, agency: Rasmussen Services) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for SSV Lok Bernau. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hertener Loewen have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group North, which they share with Vechta.
