Very important is a home loss of second ranked Kepez Bld (14-5) against seventh ranked Gelisim (10-9) on Saturday night. Host Kepez Bld was defeated by Gelisim in a tough game in Antalya 85-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kepez Bld. Gelisim made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Can Terzioglu (196-86) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and center Umut Durmus (206-80) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kepez Bld. Four Gelisim and five Kepez Bld players scored in double figures. Gelisim moved-up to sixth place in Group B, which they share with Istanbulspor. Kepez Bld at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Gelisim's next round opponent will be higher ranked Gaziantep (#4) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kepez Bld will play against TED Istanbul and be promoted back to the TBL just one year after relegation.
