Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Sofia: Levski (#3) and Slavia (#6). Slavia was crushed at home by 44 points 27-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Levski led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Slavia to just 4 points in first quarter and to 11 points in first half. Levski held Slavia to an opponent 20.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.1 percent accuracy of the winners and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game, while Slavia only scored two points from the stripe. They outrebounded Slavia 50-34 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international forward Natalia Topalova-Shopova (187-80) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds.
