Very significant was Lemminkainen's (#2, 13-6) victory against 4th ranked LKKA-Aistes (8-12) 83-50. The game without a history. Lemminkainen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Lemminkainen forced 22 LKKA-Aistes turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rita Milieskiene (175-78) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Irma Raugaite (176-84) who added 21 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Kornelija Balciunaite (176-81) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Santa Okockyte (176-92) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lemminkainen maintains second position with 13-6 record having ten points less than leader VICI Kaunas. LKKA-Aistes at the other side keeps the fourth place with 12 games lost. Lemminkainen are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Ruta Siauliai (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. LKKA-Aistes' supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kaunas to the arena VICI Kaunas.
