We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Vilnius where sixth ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes (36-1) smashed 5th ranked Perlas-MRU (16-21) 95-76 on Friday. The game without a history. Pieno Zvaigzdes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pieno Zvaigzdes had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Arturas Masiulis (210-80) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). They dropped to the eighth place with 21 games lost. Pieno Zvaigzdes will face LKKA-Atletas (#6) in Kaunas in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Perlas-MRU will play on the road against Meresta in Pakruojis.
