Very important is a home loss of third ranked ABRO-Universitetas (11-25) against sixth ranked Erelita-KTU (14-22) on Friday night. Host ABRO-Universitetas was defeated by Erelita-KTU in a tough game in Siauliai 72-77. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-72. It was a great evening for guard Matas Lisajevicius (190-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. Guard Matas Sapiega (180-90) helped adding 12 points and 7 assists. Four Erelita-KTU players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Belarusian swingman Vitali Liutych (198-92) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (184-88) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Erelita-KTU moved-up to third place. Loser ABRO-Universitetas dropped to the sixth position with 25 games lost. Erelita-KTU will meet at home Puntukas (#7) in the next round. ABRO-Universitetas will play against the league's second-placed Silute and hope to secure a win.
