Worth to mention about the upset in a game between CSM Bucuresti (11-12) and Politehnica Iasi (5-18), which took place in Iasi. Higher ranked CSM Bucuresti lost to fourteenth ranked Politehnica Iasi in a road game 84-97. The game was mostly controlled by Politehnica Iasi. CSM Bucuresti was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Politehnica Iasi made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game.
