Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Olin Edirne (12-8) beat at home 12th ranked Bornova (6-14) 81-68. It looked good early as Bornova took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Olin Edirne had a 21-17 second period charge getting the lead and Bornova was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-81.
