Very predictable result when third ranked Kraski Zidar (16-5) rolled over on the road 12th ranked Medvode (6-15) 68-49 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kraski Zidar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Medvode to just 7 points in second quarter. Kraski Zidar dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Medvode's 30. Kraski Zidar forced 21 Medvode turnovers. Center Nejc Buda (210-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and center Vito Furlan (198-90) accounted for 9 points. Center Zan Jenko (204-87) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Robert Babic (188-86) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Medvode in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Kraski Zidar. They maintain third place with 16-5 record having just three points less than leader Rogaska. Medvode lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Kraski Zidar will meet league's leader Rogaska in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Medvode will play against the league's second-placed Sencur CP (#2) in Kranj and hope to secure a win.
