NKL top team - Pieno Zvaigzdes (37-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked LKKA-Atletas (20-18) in Pasvalys 83-73. The game was mostly controlled by Pieno Zvaigzdes. LKKA-Atletas was better in third quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded LKKA-Atletas 41-19 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Arnas Kazlauskas (204-76, agency: Court Side) fired 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Pieno Zvaigzdes' coach Rimantas Endrijaitis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
