The game with biggest result difference took place in Palanga. Local Naglis-Adakris (6-12) was outscored by third ranked Rudupis (13-5) 107-60 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Rudupis. Naglis-Adakris managed to win fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rudupis forced 24 Naglis-Adakris turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Vytenis Lipkevicius (198-89) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Gediminas Orelikas (197-90) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Mantas Mockevicius (188-93) with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Sudanese forward Deng Gai (206-82, college: Fairfield) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Rudupis and four Naglis-Adakris players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rudupis maintains third position with 13-5 record having five points less than leader Zalgiris. Naglis-Adakris lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Sakalai. Rudupis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Naglis-Adakris will play against Juventus (#4) in Utena and hope to secure a win.
