Everything went according to plan when second ranked Mures (19-6) beat on the road 10th ranked CSM Bucuresti (11-13) 78-67. The game was mostly controlled by Mures. CSM Bucuresti was better in fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mures forced 23 CSM Bucuresti turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a very good performance for American forward Jason Forte (196-84, college: S.Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds. They maintain second place with 19-6 record having just three points less than leader Ploiesti, which they share with U.Mobitel.CN and Gaz Metan. CSM Bucuresti lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Mures' next round opponent will be Oradea (#7) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game.
