Third-ranked Meresta (24-15) gave a tough game to first ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes (38-1) in Pakruojis. The visitors from Pasvalys managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Meresta. The guests were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 22-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. Power forward Arnas Kazlauskas (204-76, agency: Court Side) nailed 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Gintautas Vileita (194-75, college: Monmouth) accounted for 19 points and 6 steals. Four Pieno Zvaigzdes players scored in double figures. Pieno Zvaigzdes' coach Rimantas Endrijaitis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
