Very important is a road loss of second ranked Hacettepe Univ. (15-6) against tenth ranked Basaksehir (7-14) on Saturday night. Visiting Hacettepe Univ. was defeated by Basaksehir in a tough game in Istanbul 75-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hacettepe Univ.. Basaksehir forced 23 Hacettepe Univ. turnovers. Strangely Hacettepe Univ. outrebounded Basaksehir 43-30 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Tyrone Anderson (193-84, college: Concord) nailed a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Five Basaksehir players scored in double figures. American-Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford, agency: Edge Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and forward Adnan Onder Kulcebas (205-81, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Hacettepe Univ. in the defeat. Hacettepe Univ.'s coach Alp Bayramoglu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Basaksehir maintains tenth place in Group B with 7-14 record. Loser Hacettepe Univ. keeps the second position with six games lost.
