The most exciting game of round 24 in the ProA took place in Kirchheim. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Kirchheim Knights (13-11) to fourth ranked GiroLive-Ballers (15-8) 84-81 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 3 points. The best player for the winners was forward Tom Spoeler (206-88) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Gordon Scott (195-76, college: Idaho) who recorded 17 points and 8 assists and naturalized American power forward Ryan De Michael (205-77, college: Tennessee-Martin) added 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. GiroLive-Ballers maintains fourth position with 15-8 record. Kirchheim Knights at the other side keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. GiroLive-Ballers are looking forward to face Crailsheim Merlins (#6) at home in the next round. Kirchheim Knights will play against Cuxhaven BasCats and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
