Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked CSU Sibiu (14-13) won against on the road 12th ranked CSM Bucuresti (11-15) 70-59 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 22-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. CSU Sibiu forced 25 CSM Bucuresti turnovers. The best player for the winners was American center Justin Herndon (208-83) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Octavian Calota (185-84) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four CSU Sibiu players scored in double figures. CSM Bucuresti will play against the league's second-placed U-Mobitelco where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
