Regular Season Round 22: Antalya - Oyak Renault 88-81

Date: March 19, 2011
No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Antalya (12-10) beat at home bottom-ranked Oyak Renault (3-19) 88-81 on Saturday. Oyak Renault was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Oyak Renault 39-24 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Bradley Buckman (203-84, college: Texas) notched 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Muratcan Guler (192-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) supported him with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Antalya players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by American forward James Mays (206-86, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Oyak Renault. His fellow American import guard William Conroy (187-82, college: Washington, agency: ZAG Advocates) added 16 points and 8 assists for lost side. Antalya have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 12-10 record. Oyak Renault lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Antalya will meet league's leader Fenerbahce Ulker in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Oyak Renault will play against Erdemir (#12) and hope to secure a win.
