Rather expected game when 12th ranked ITU Istanbul (3-19) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Basaksehir (8-14) 101-91 on Sunday. Basaksehir looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Tyrone Anderson (193-84, college: Concord) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Adnan Sevda (206-86) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Basaksehir's coach Zafer Cavusoglu used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side center Enver Enis Ekmen (207-83, agency: EM-PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Okan Bostanci (-88) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. Five Basaksehir and four ITU Istanbul players scored in double figures. Basaksehir moved-up to ninth place in Group B. ITU Istanbul lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 19 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
