Regular Season Round 22: Adanaspor - Pertevniyal 64-86

Date: March 20, 2011
Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Pertevniyal (11-11) smashed on the road 10th ranked Adanaspor (7-15) 86-64 on Sunday. Guard Can Korkmaz (187-92, agency: Beo Basket) scored 18 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ali Isik (205-90) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Pertevniyal players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Jason Keep (208-78, college: San Diego) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Tufan Aktulgali (202-80) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pertevniyal moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with Final Genclik. Newly promoted Adanaspor keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
