The game in Izmir supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Istanbulspor (11-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Gelisim (11-11). Gelisim smashed Istanbulspor 92-57 on Sunday. Gelisim dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Istanbulspor's 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Orbay Kaya (205-82) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Gelisim players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Nusret Yildirim (202-89, agency: EM-PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Feyzi Celebioglu (-88, agency: EM-PA) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gelisim moved-up to seventh place in Group B, which they share with defeated Istanbulspor. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
