An interesting game for BC Donetsk (31-11) which hosted in Donetsk 3rd placed Hoverla (26-17). Second ranked BC Donetsk managed to get a 7-point victory 97-90. Hoverla was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 58-48 second half run of BC Donetsk. They made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Hoverla was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American power forward J.K. Four BC Donetsk and five Hoverla players scored in double figures. Hoverla's coach Evgeni Murzin tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted BC Donetsk maintains second place with 31-11 record behind leader Budivelnyk. Hoverla at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 17 games lost. BC Donetsk will play against Mykolaiv (#6) in Mykolaiv in the next round. Hoverla will play at home against BC Odessa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
