Regular Season Round 23: Fener.Ulker - Antalya 97-83

TBL top team - Fenerbahce Ulker (20-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Antalya (12-11) in Istanbul 97-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Antalya. It looked good early as Antalya took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fenerbahce Ulker had a 27-14 second period charge getting the lead and Antalya was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-97. It was a quality performance for Bosnian-Slovenian forward Emir Preldzic (206-87, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. Croatian guard Marko Tomas (201-85) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. American guard Gerrod Henderson (192-78, college: Louisiana Tech) came up with 28 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) and the other American import forward Bradley Buckman (203-84, college: Texas) added 22 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Antalya in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-3 record. Antalya at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will play against Erdemir (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Antalya will play against Besiktas in Istanbul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
