An interesting game took place in Crailsheim where higher ranked Crailsheim Merlins (14-12) were upseton its own court by fifteenth ranked Cuxhaven BasCats (9-17) 85-74. The game was mostly controlled by Cuxhaven BasCats. Crailsheim Merlins was better in second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Crailsheim Merlins' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Cuxhaven BasCats moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with ETB Wohnbau and Freiburg. Crailsheim Merlins lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Cuxhaven BasCats' next round opponent will be higher ranked BG Karlsruhe (#9) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
