Everything went according to plan in Wuerzburg where second ranked s Oliver Baskets (19-7) beat 11th ranked USC Heidelberg (10-16) 84-73. Liberian-American guard Pele Paelay (193-84, college: Co.Carolina) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Forward Kevin Wysocki (198-87) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Paelay is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five s Oliver Baskets players scored in double figures. American guard James Wright (187-81, college: Colorado, agency: Impact Basketball) replied with 27 points and his fellow American import guard Jason Bohannon (190-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: Limelight Hoops) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for USC Heidelberg. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted s Oliver Baskets maintains second position with 19-7 record having six points less than leader B.Muenchen. USC Heidelberg at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. s Oliver Baskets' next round opponent will be Science City Jena (#15) on the road which should be an easy win for them.
