Very predictable result when second ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (22-7) won against 16th ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (7-22) in Weissenfels 70-58. It looked good early as Mitteldeutscher BC took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Deutsche Bank Skyliners had a 15-11 second period charge getting the lead and Mitteldeutscher BC was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 58-70. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was guard DaShaun Wood (185-85, college: Wright St.) who scored 27 points. Forward Roger Powell (198-83, college: Illinois, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds.
