An interesting game took place in Bornova where higher ranked Karsiyaka (15-8) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Bornova (7-16) 85-81 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Karsiyaka. Bornova moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Aliaga. Loser Karsiyaka keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Bornova will face higher ranked Tofas (#10) in Bursa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Karsiyaka will play at home against Oyak Renault (#16) in Bursa.
