Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Tommie Eddie (201-82, college: Mississippi) did not help to save the game for Academica. His fellow American import forward Matthew Shaw (201-86, college: S.Illinois) added 20 points for the guests. FC Porto Ferpinta have an impressive 11-game winning streak. FC Porto Ferpinta maintains first position with 19-1 record. Academica at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. FC Porto Ferpinta will play against Illiabum (#11) in Ilhavo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Academica will play at home against the league's second-placed Benfica (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
