The game was mostly controlled by MKB Euroleasing. Szeged managed to win fourth quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Szeged to just 6 points in second quarter. MKB Euroleasing dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Szeged's 34. MKB Euroleasing forced 24 Szeged turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Four MKB Euroleasing players scored in double figures. MKB Euroleasing's coach Norbert Szekely felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international forward Rita Rasheed (180-89, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) responded with 15 points and power forward Orsolya Farkasinszki (185-86) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds.
