Regular Season Round 25: Postojna - Sezana 74-75

Ninth-ranked KD Postojna (9-16) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Kraski Zidar (18-7) on Saturday. The visitors from Sezana managed to secure only one-point victory 75-74. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-74. Kraski Zidar outrebounded KD Postojna 34-23 including 21 on the defensive glass. Center Nejc Buda (210-91, agency: Interperformances) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Julijan Grgic (200-88) accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Klemen Panic (180-91) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for KD Postojna in the defeat. Five KD Postojna players scored in double figures. Kraski Zidar maintains third place with 18-7 record having five points less than leader Rogaska. Loser KD Postojna keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost. Kraski Zidar will meet Nova Gorica (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KD Postojna will play against Splosna plovba in Portoroz and hope to secure a win.
