The game with biggest result difference took place in Heidelberg. Local USC Heidelberg (10-17) was outscored by thirteenth ranked ETB Wohnbau (10-17) 98-73 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by ETB Wohnbau. USC Heidelberg was better in fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ETB Wohnbau made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for ETB Wohnbau especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Greg Baker (194-84, college: Adams St.) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Danilo Barthel (207-91) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively. USC Heidelberg's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for ETB Wohnbau. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Heidelberg and Cuxhaven. ETB Wohnbau will face Science City Jena (#15) at home in the next round.
