Very predictable result when third ranked Kraski Zidar (19-7) won against on the road 11th ranked Nova Gorica (8-18) 84-69. It looked good early as Nova Gorica took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kraski Zidar had a 27-23 second period charge getting the lead and Nova Gorica was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-84. The best player for the winners was center Nejc Buda (210-91, agency: Interperformances) who scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Marko Likar (195-78) chipped in 13 points. Five Kraski Zidar players scored in double figures. Kraski Zidar's coach Miroslav Juric used entire bench saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Rajko Rituper (202-75) produced 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Marko Marcetic (186-79) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Kraski Zidar have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 19-7 record having five points less than leader Rogaska. Nova Gorica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
