It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Kormend's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-15 extending their advantage to 14 points. They also forced 19 Kecskemeti turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) who helped to win the game recording 32 points. The former international guard Istvan Nemeth (190-79, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) contributed with 14 points for the winners. The former international guard Krisztian Wittmann (185-85, agency: FCM) answered with 14 points and 7 assists and international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, college: High School, agency: FCM) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kecskemeti. Kecskemeti's coach Stojan Ivkovic rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
