Important game to mention about took place in Zaporozhye. Fifth ranked Mykolaiv (26-20) saved a 1-point derby victory on the road edging 6th ranked Ferro-ZNTU (24-22) 85-84 in the fight for the fifth place. It looked good early as Ferro-ZNTU took an 14-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Mykolaiv took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 1 point.
