The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beograd: FMP Zeleznik (#7) and OKK Beograd (#6). FMP Zeleznik (3-5) won against visiting OKK Beograd (2-5) 87-78. OKK Beograd trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 19-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-87 at the end of the game. They outrebounded OKK Beograd 40-22 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by OKK Beograd helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was naturalized Bosnian center Mile Ilic (215-84, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Andreja Milutinovic (199-90) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four FMP Zeleznik players scored in double figures. Forward Dragan Mitrovic (200-85) produced 17 points and 4 assists and power forward Dragan Zekovic (210-87, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FMP Zeleznik moved-up to sixth place. OKK Beograd lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. FMP Zeleznik's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beograd to the arena Partizan.
