There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked USC Heidelberg (12-17) defeated at home higher ranked Crailsheim Merlins (15-14) 78-68 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by USC Heidelberg. Crailsheim Merlins was better in second period 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. USC Heidelberg had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds.
