Quarter-Finals Round 4: PVSK Pannon - Szolnok 64-81

The game was mostly controlled by Szolnok. PVSK Pannon managed to win second period 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szolnok dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to PVSK Pannon's 30. Szolnok had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Obie Trotter (186-84, college: Alabama A&M, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 assists and the former international center Marton Bader (212-80, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) who added 10 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Muhammad El-Amin (196-87, college: Stony Brook) responded with 17 points and the former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
