Quarter-Finals Round 4: ZTE KK - Atomeromu 66-85

Date: April 18, 2011
It looked good early as ZTE KK took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Atomeromu had a 19-11 second period charge getting the lead and ZTE KK was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-85. Atomeromu made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international center Gergely Koertelyesi (203-83, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and American forward Ian Johnson (205-84, college: Davidson) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Even 11 points by the former international swingman Tamas Kaman (200-79, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) did not help to save the game for ZTE KK. Swingman David Gaspar (193-82) added 11 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
