The game was mostly controlled by Vologda-Chevakata. Spartak St.Petersburg was better in second period 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American center Jessica Davenport (196-85, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import guard Loree Moore (176-83, college: Tennessee) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Vologda-Chevakata players scored in double figures. American power forward Jennifer Lacy (191-83, college: Pepperdine) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Olga Gricaeva (192-85, college: S.Carolina) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests.
