Eighth-ranked Chernomorets (4-22) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Euroins Cherno More (11-15) in Burgas on Wednesday. The visitors from Varna managed to secure only one-point victory 72-71. However their fans expected easier game. The guests trailed by 14 points at the halftime before their 29-7 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Euroins Cherno More dominated on the defensive end, holding Chernomorets to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Chernomorets 35-24 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was international forward Aleksandar Yanev (203-90, agency: Interperformances) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds.
