Regular Season Round 27: Antalya - Erdemir 74-85

We should mention about the upset which took place in Antalya, where higher ranked Antalya (13-14) lost at home to twelfth ranked Erdemir (10-17) 74-85. It looked good early as Antalya took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Erdemir had a 26-20 second period charge getting the lead and Antalya was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-85. They outrebounded Antalya 42-23 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American-Lebanese swingman Antwain Barbour (196-82, college: Kentucky, agency: Court Side) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Mike Hall (203-84, college: George Washington, agency: SportsTalent) accounted for 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Erdemir players scored in double figures. American guard J.P. Prince (201-87, college: Tennessee) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Muratcan Guler (192-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Antalya in the defeat. Erdemir moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Tofas and Turk Telekom. Antalya at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Erdemir's next round opponent will be Trabzonspor (#12) on the road.
