A very close game took place in Aliaga between Aliaga and Turk Telekom. Fourteenth ranked Aliaga (8-19) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Turk Telekom (10-17). Aliaga managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. The best for the losing side was guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Rasim Basak (202-80, agency: Court Side) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Aliaga maintains fourteenth place with 8-19 record. Loser Turk Telekom keeps the ninth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Tofas and Erdemir. Aliaga will meet at home higher ranked Banvit (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play against Bornova (#15) and hope to secure a win.
