Lugano Tigers advanced into LNA Finals following a comfortable road win over Monthey. Monthey was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 48-18 second half run of Lugano Tigers. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Monthey's 24. They outrebounded Monthey 44-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American-Nigerian guard Michael Efevberha (196-84, college: Cal.St. Northridge) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Mohammed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St.) helped adding 17 points. Four Lugano Tigers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard John Sharper (186-84, college: San Diego St.) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and American-Jamaican forward Ronald Yates (201-83, college: St.Peter's, agency: SportsList Inc.) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Monthey's coach Thibaut Petit gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
