Second Stage Round 10: Bosna - Mladost 94-88

The most important game in the last round took place in Sarajevo between third ranked Mladost (5-5) and sixth ranked Bosna ASA BHT (2-8) on Saturday night. Mladost was defeated by Bosna ASA BHT in a tough game on the road 88-94. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-12. But Mladost won third quarter 22-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bosna ASA BHT made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Mladost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Muhamed Pasalic (192-87) scored 32 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Swedish-Serbian power forward Aleksandar Damjanovic (206-73) chipped in 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Bosna ASA BHT's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Serbian guard Milijan Bocka (186-82) responded with 30 points and 7 assists and Serbian power forward Ranko Velimirovic (203-72, agency: Beo Basket) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bosna ASA BHT moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Capljina. Mladost at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
