Regular Season Round 30: Turk Telekom - Fener.Ulker 79-92

Leader Fenerbahce Ulker delivered the twentieth seventh victory. This time they beat 9th ranked Turk Telekom (12-18) 92-79 in Ankara. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Turk Telekom. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. Turk Telekom was better in fourth quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fenerbahce Ulker players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for Croatian guard Roko-Leni Ukic (195-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 assists. Lithuanian center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. Guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) replied with 16 points and 9 assists and American power forward KZell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) added 11 points in the effort for Turk Telekom. Turk Telekom's coach Faruk Akagun tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fenerbahce Ulker (27-3) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Turk Telekom at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
